Option to deactivate AJAX loading but keep the design

It would be great to have an option in the settings to disable AJAX content loading but keep the look set through the UiPress template (and load content with page reload). The look is great but on slower sites AJAX loading is more of a pain. People click on something and don't know if something is happening or not.
An option could be to keep Ajax loading, but add some loading gif until the content is fully loaded (the current loading bar is not quite the best).
