Bug With Admin Menu Behaviour

Admin Menu Items are not being set to active when the linked page is opened. Please refer to the attached screenshot:

The bug is being faced with and without dynamic loading. Also, in case of dynamic loading, there is a delay in menu item being set to active after a click. (Such event is observed after adding some custom JS snippet)

Also, there is a bug in hover behavior of admin menu. Submenus are not being popped up when hovered over a top level menu item. Please refer to the attached screenshots:

I did set the menu items to be stretched horizontally but the container is taking the size of content in it. It is evident with the background color. Also, on hover, submenus such as all pages, add new is supposed to be popped up.
